New generations of women are exercising their influence in the workplace and in the community, areas that were dominated by the generations that came before them. This shift created power struggles and conflict related to work ethic, professional dress and expectations regarding career advancement. It also created an opportunity to bridge the gap between generations of women to ensure personal and professional growth for all!
Stilettos & Sneakers, a company led by a baby boomer and a millennial, was formed to fill that gap and by helping leaders understand generational differences in communication and leadership styles in order to improve teamwork, work culture, and their bottom line.
They worked with Kecia Carroll of KC Roberg to develop a brand strategy and business development roadmap that would help them tell their unique story to the right leaders, companies and industry groups. Today they serve as a ‘go to source’ for commentary and tools on inter-generational personal and professional challenges facing women, helping all generations of women build trust and empower each other through shared experiences.
